Mock neck without sleeves
An unusual combination and a useful one. The high standing collar gives structure at the neckline while leaving the arms bare, so it works in summer and reads as more finished than a plain vest.
It also layers cleanly under a blazer or a sleeveless knit without adding bulk at the shoulder.
The rib
Ribbed fabric holds its shape against the body without needing to be tight, and micro modal gives it a silk-like handle rather than the slightly rough feel of ribbed cotton.
