Why linen in hot weather
Linen is the most breathable fabric available and the only one that actively moves moisture away from the skin rather than holding it. That is why it works in genuine heat where cotton goes damp and clings.
The fibres are also hollow, which is why linen feels cool to the touch before you have even put it on.
It will crease, and that is the point
Worth setting expectations. Linen creases — that is the fabric doing what linen does, not a fault. If you want a tee that stays crisp all day, buy the cotton modal instead.
Linen also softens with every wash. The one you have owned three years will be the one you reach for.
