FYLOCRU-B
104 In Stock Out of stock 104
A complete travel system in eclipse black — carrycot, pushchair seat and infant car seat on one chassis, covering birth to around 4 years.
Cup holder and seat liner included.
What 3-in-1 means
- Carrycot — lie-flat, from birth. Newborns need to lie flat; a semi-upright seat restricts a small baby's airway over time.
- Pushchair seat — from around 6 months, once they can sit supported. Usually reversible so they can face you or the world.
- Infant car seat — clicks onto the same chassis, so you move a sleeping baby from car to pram without waking them.
That third mode is the reason people buy travel systems, and it is genuinely useful in the first year.
The two-hour rule
Worth knowing before you rely on the car seat mode. Infant carriers hold a baby semi-upright, and guidance is to limit continuous time in one to around two hours. A small baby's head can drop forward and restrict their airway.
So the car seat on the chassis is for the walk from the car to the cafe, not for a whole afternoon out. For longer trips, use the carrycot.
Car seat fitting
This bundle includes the infant car seat but not an ISOFIX base — the seat is fitted with the car's seat belt. A version with the base is available at £219.99, and a base makes fitting faster and considerably harder to get wrong.
Never fit a rear-facing infant carrier in a front passenger seat with an active airbag.
Also included
Cup holder and seat liner.
Safety
Always use the harness, in every mode. Engage the brake whenever the pram is stationary, including on level ground. Do not hang heavy bags from the handle — it is the most common cause of prams tipping backwards.
Check the carrycot and car seat are fully clicked onto the chassis by lifting each one before you set off. Read the manual before first use and keep it.
