Why you need a spare

Nursing pillow covers get milk, posset and leaked nappy on them, often several times a day in the early weeks. The pillow itself cannot go in the machine — only the cover can.

With one cover, every wash means no pillow until it dries. With two, you strip it, swap it and carry on. It is a small purchase that removes a genuinely irritating problem at a point when you have no spare capacity for irritating problems.

Fit

Sized for the standard curved nursing pillow. It will not fit a twin nursing pillow, which is wider — those covers are listed separately.

Care

Machine washable. Wash before first use.

A reminder

Never let a baby sleep on or in a nursing pillow, and never leave a baby on one unattended. Supervised, awake, feeding use only.
