How the weight is saved

The 48cm deck uses weight-reducing cut-outs with central reinforcement crosses, so material is removed only where it is not carrying load. The CrMo steel T-bar is reinforced and precision-shaped rather than simply thickened — stronger per gram than plain steel.

Safety
