Chilli Reaper Stunt Scooter – Gold, Ages 8–12, Upgradable to 120mm

The scooter for a child who has learned the basics and wants to ride properly — park sessions, drops, first proper tricks. It is the model the Chilli rider team use.

Specification

• Deck — aircraft-grade aluminium, light enough for rotations and stiff enough for repeated impact
• Bars — fixed height T-bar, no adjustment to work loose
• Wheels — 110mm as standard
• Bearings — ABEC 9

The 120mm upgrade

The Reaper takes 120mm wheels with a simple brake swap. Larger wheels roll faster and carry speed better over rough tarmac, which is worth doing once a rider gets heavier and stronger. It means the scooter grows with them rather than being replaced.

Gold or Grim?

Mechanically identical. Gold is black with gold detailing; Grim is all black. The Grim is currently cheaper.

Safety

A correctly fitted helmet meeting EN 1078 should be worn at all times. Knee and elbow pads and wrist guards are strongly recommended — at this level riders are attempting tricks where falls are part of learning. Check clamp bolts and wheel nuts before every ride.
