Chilli Base Jumpstart Stunt Scooter – Blue/Yellow, Ages 5–9

A first stunt scooter for children aged roughly 5 to 9, built with the same components found on adult scooters rather than the pressed-steel parts used on supermarket models. That matters because a scooter that flexes or rattles teaches bad habits and puts children off.

Morphing grips

The grips soften and mould slightly to the shape of a child's hands with use. They are grippier than standard rubber, which reduces slipping and the hand fatigue that ends sessions early.

Jumpstart or Base S Jumpstart?

The Base S Jumpstart is the smaller, lighter version at 3.2kg — better for a child at the younger end of the range or one who is small for their age. This standard Base gives more deck to stand on and lasts longer as they grow.

Safety

A correctly fitted helmet meeting EN 1078 should be worn at all times. Knee and elbow pads and wrist guards are strongly recommended when learning tricks. Check the clamp bolts and wheel nuts are tight before every ride. Adult supervision advised for younger riders and at skateparks.
