Why the colour choice matters

Paris souvenirs default to black, white and grey — the tower as a silhouette. Putting it in warm pink and orange is what stops this reading as a tourist-shop cushion and starts it reading as a piece of design.

It also makes it far easier to place. A sunset palette works in a room; a monochrome landmark tends to sit apart from everything.

Where it works

Care

Spot clean the needlepoint face. Do not machine wash. Turn it occasionally so both faces wear evenly.
