Oud Alif Fragrance Noir 100ml – Oud, Saffron & Dark Chocolate

Oud agarwood with dark chocolate, saffron and patchouli. The heaviest and most expensive scent in the range, and the only one that could reasonably be called challenging.

• Top — saffron, warm and slightly metallic
• Heart — oud agarwood
• Base — dark chocolate and patchouli

A word on oud

Oud is resinous, smoky and animalic, and it divides opinion sharply. If you have never worn it, expect something quite unlike a European floral or citrus — closer to incense and old wood than anything fruity. It is also extremely long-lasting; two sprays is plenty and four is too many.

When to wear it

Evening, cold weather, and situations where you do not mind being noticed. It projects considerably more than anything else in this range.

Why the 100ml

Better value per ml, though given how little you need per wear, a bottle this size will last a very long time.
