MOISTUREBURST Ceramide Serum – Hydrating Barrier Repair Serum, 30ml or 50ml

A ceramide serum for skin that stays dry no matter how much moisturiser you apply — usually a sign the barrier itself is compromised rather than a simple lack of moisture.

What ceramides do

Ceramides are lipids that make up a large share of your skin barrier. Think of the barrier as brickwork: skin cells are the bricks, ceramides are the mortar. When ceramide levels drop — through age, over-cleansing, harsh actives or cold weather — water escapes and irritants get in. Skin feels tight, flaky and reactive.

Applying ceramides topically helps top up that mortar.

How to use it

Apply to damp skin after cleansing, before moisturiser. Layers well under both the Imperial Moisturiser and the Night Elixir.

Particularly worth using through winter, and alongside any retinol or acid treatment that leaves skin sensitised.
