GLOWGUARD SPF30 Moisturiser – Mineral Zinc Oxide Sunscreen with Niacinamide

A daily moisturiser with SPF 30, using non-nano zinc oxide rather than chemical filters. It is the only product in the range that offers sun protection, and daily UV exposure does more visible ageing than anything else your routine addresses.

Mineral rather than chemical

Zinc oxide sits on the skin and reflects UV rather than absorbing it. It tends to suit reactive skin better than chemical filters, and this formula is free from octocrylene, octinoxate, oxybenzone and homosalate.

Mineral sunscreens can leave a slight white cast, particularly on deeper skin tones. Worth knowing before you buy.

Other actives

• Niacinamide — helps even the look of skin tone and refine pores
• Baobab and prickly pear seed oils — fatty acids for softness
• Green tea leaf extract and vitamin E — antioxidant defence
• Aloe vera and glycerin — hydration

How to use it

1. Apply about 3ml to clean skin, 30 minutes before sun exposure
2. Reapply every two hours
3. Reapply after swimming or sweating
4. Massage into face and neck

Most people apply far less sunscreen than the tested amount, which means real protection is usually lower than the label. Reapplication matters more than the SPF number.
