How it works

Spray onto the shower wall or floor away from the direct stream, then let the steam do the rest. Heat and humidity release the essential oils far more effectively than spraying into dry air — which is why a shower is one of the best places in a house to use aromatherapy oils, and why this works better than it sounds.

The blend

Citrus with basil. Basil is the unusual choice and the one that stops this being another lemon spray — it is green and slightly herbal, and it sharpens the citrus rather than sweetening it.

The result is bracing rather than relaxing. This is a morning product.

How to use it

Two or three sprays onto the shower wall before you get in. Not onto yourself, and not into the direct stream where it will simply wash away.

For use in the shower enclosure only. Do not spray onto skin or near the face. Take care — spraying oils onto a shower floor can make it slippery. Keep out of reach of children.
