Why the cotton version
Most matching Christmas pyjamas are pure polyester, which is warm but doesn't breathe. If anyone in the house sleeps hot, or if you want pyjamas that get worn through January rather than just on Christmas morning, cotton is the better buy.
It's also gentler against children's skin, which matters if anyone is prone to irritation from synthetic nightwear.

Order earlier than you think
These sell out by size rather than by product. Dad's XL disappears in early December while the rest is still available, and then nobody matches. Order every size you need in one go.
Sizing note
Cut on Asian sizing, so they run smaller than UK equivalents. Size up, especially for adults.
Care
Machine washable. Wash before first wear and keep reds separate for the first few washes — festive prints run.
Cotton will shrink slightly on a hot wash. Use 30°C and it won't.
