Argan Daily Moisturiser SPF30 60ml – Mineral Zinc Oxide Sunscreen

A daily moisturiser with SPF30, using non-nano zinc oxide rather than chemical UV filters. It does the job of two products, which in practice means the SPF actually gets applied — the main reason people skip sunscreen is having to add a step.

Mineral, not chemical

Zinc oxide sits on the surface and reflects UV rather than absorbing it. That tends to suit reactive skin better, and it is the reason this qualifies as reef safe. The formula is designed not to leave the white cast mineral sunscreens are known for.

SPF30 versus SPF50

SPF30 filters around 97% of UVB. SPF50 filters about 98%. The one percentage point matters far less than whether you reapply — and most people apply well under the tested amount, so real-world protection is lower than the label on any sunscreen.

How to use it

Apply generously to clean skin as the last step of your morning routine, 15 to 30 minutes before going out. Reapply every two hours in strong sun, and after swimming or sweating. Works as a primer under makeup or on its own.

Formulation

Non-nano zinc oxide, organic argan oil, vitamin E. Lightly scented with natural apricot essential oil — no synthetic fragrance. Vegan, cruelty free, in a recyclable glass bottle. No alcohols, sulfates or parabens.

Size

60ml — the everyday size. Also available in 15ml, 100ml and 120ml.

For external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes. Sunscreen is one part of sun safety — seek shade between 11am and 3pm and cover up. Check the packaging for the UVA rating. Store below 25°C and observe the period-after-opening symbol.
