Vissla High Seas II 5mm Wetsuit Boots, Split Toe

The Vissla High Seas II 5mm is a split toe surf boot rated by Vissla for cold water of 8 to 12°C. Vissla says it weighs half as much as its 7 Seas 5mm boot, with a super thin sole for board feel.

Choosing surf boots

Thicker boots hold more warmth for winter surfing, when UK sea temperatures drop to roughly 7 to 10°C; thinner boots keep more board feel for spring and autumn. Split toe boots separate the big toe from the other toes, while round toe boots enclose all the toes together.

Sizing

Vissla says its surf boots fit true to shoe size and should fit snugly to keep water out. Sizes listed: UK6, UK7, UK8, UK9, UK10 and UK12 (UK shoe sizes).

Care

Rinse the boots inside and out with fresh water after each use, then lay them flat to dry in a cool, shaded spot out of direct sunlight.
