Choosing a wetsuit thickness

Wetsuit thickness is given in millimetres. With two numbers, the first is the torso and the second the arms and legs; a three-number suit such as this one combines three panel thicknesses, usually with the thickest neoprene on the torso. Around the UK, sea temperatures are roughly 7 to 10°C in winter and 15 to 18°C in late summer, so a 5/4mm or 6/5mm suit (often with boots, gloves and a hood) suits winter, a 4/3mm spring and autumn, and a 3/2mm the summer months. As this suit is hooded, you will not need a separate hood.

Sizing

Sizes XS, S and XL are listed. A winter suit should fit snugly with no loose folds at the back or knees, so check your height and chest against the Vissla size chart before ordering.
