The Vissla 7 Seas is a 4/3mm full-length chest zip wetsuit for men, designed by Vissla for everyday surfing. Vissla rates it for cold water of 11 to 14°C.

Choosing a wetsuit thickness

The two numbers give the neoprene thickness in millimetres: the first is the torso and the second is the arms and legs. UK sea temperatures are roughly 7 to 10°C in winter and 15 to 18°C in late summer, so a 5/4mm or 6/5mm suit, often worn with boots, gloves and a hood, suits winter, a 4/3mm suit suits spring and autumn, and a 3/2mm suit suits summer.

Sizing

Sizes run MS, M, MT, L, LT and XL, and vary by colour. MS is medium short, while MT and LT are the tall fits of M and L. Check your height, weight and chest against the Vissla size chart before choosing.

Care

Rinse the suit inside and out with fresh water after each use and hang it to dry in a cool, shaded place out of direct sunlight. Avoid standing on the suit when changing.
