The Vissla 7 Seas 4/3mm is a men's back zip full wetsuit from Vissla's 7 Seas range, designed for everyday surfing. A back zip is the simplest entry to get in and out of, which many surfers prefer for quick changes in the car park.

Choosing a thickness

The first number is the torso thickness in millimetres, the second the arms and legs. UK seas are roughly 7 to 10°C in winter and 15 to 18°C in late summer, so 5/4mm or 6/5mm (often with boots, gloves and a hood) suits winter, 4/3mm spring and autumn, and 3/2mm summer.

A back zip suit opens wider than a chest zip, so it is easier to put on, while a chest zip usually lets in less water at the neck. If you surf mainly in summer and early autumn, a 4/3mm suit gives some extra warmth for windy days.

Sizing

Available in sizes S, M, MT and L. MT is a tall fit of the base size. Check the Vissla size chart for height, weight and chest measurements before you order.

Rinse in fresh water after each use and dry out of direct sunlight.
