Junior Electric Dirt Bike 150W – Ages 3-12, 8 or 16km/h

Read this first: where it can legally be ridden

This is a motor vehicle in law and cannot be used on public roads, pavements, cycle paths or in public parks. It is not registered, taxed, insured or road legal, and none of those things can be arranged for it.

It may only be used on private land with the landowner's permission. Please be certain you have suitable space — a garden, paddock or private track — before buying. At 16km/h it also needs room to stop.

What it is

A 150W brushless electric dirt bike for children aged 3 to 12, with two speed settings:

• 8 km/h — for beginners and younger riders
• 16 km/h — for confident, older riders

12-inch rubber wheels and a high-density seat.

Start on the low setting and leave it there until your child is genuinely confident. 16km/h is a serious speed for a small child on uneven ground.

Safety

A correctly fitted helmet meeting EN 1078 is essential — not optional. At 16km/h, a fall onto a hard surface without one causes real injury.

Knee pads, elbow pads and gloves are strongly advised. Long trousers and closed shoes, never sandals.

Constant adult supervision. Check the brakes before every ride. Do not use in wet or icy conditions.

The age range is wide, and a 3-year-old and a 12-year-old need very different supervision. Judge by your own child's coordination rather than the range on the box.

Charging

Charge on a hard surface away from anything flammable, and never overnight or unattended. Use only the supplied charger. Stop using it if the battery swells, smells or becomes unusually hot.
