The Range Round Rack is a pair of soft pads that wrap around your car's existing roof bars, so surfboards do not sit directly on bare metal. They are for surfers who already have roof bars fitted and want a padded surface for carrying boards.

Using a roof rack safely

Follow the fitting instructions, check that every strap is tight before each drive and again on longer trips, and do not exceed your vehicle's roof load limit as stated in its handbook.

Place boards fin side up and nose forward on the pads, and secure them with suitable surf straps before driving. The pads cushion the boards; the straps hold them in place. Check the Velcro is fully closed around each bar before loading.
