Range Key Lock Combination Key Safe for Cars, Vinyl Shackle

The Range Key Lock is a combination key safe for surfers who need somewhere to leave the car key while in the water. The shackle clips around a door handle, roof rack or wheel, and the key sits inside a locked case.

Key details

• Type: Combination key safe
• Shackle: Vinyl coated to avoid scratching paintwork

• Code cover: Shutter door over the code mechanism

Choosing where to fit it

Fit the lock somewhere solid that cannot be unclipped without opening the shackle, such as a fixed roof rack bar or a door handle. Many modern keyless fobs keep transmitting, so check your car's handbook for how to switch a keyless fob to sleep mode before leaving it near the vehicle.

Setting your code

Choose a code you will remember and keep a note of it somewhere safe. Range warns that it cannot help if you forget your code.
