A faux fur trim that attaches around the edge of a pushchair hood, in dark grey or light grey.
What it actually does
Mostly it changes how the pram looks — this is a styling accessory, and there is no point pretending otherwise.
It does have a practical side though. A fur trim around the hood edge breaks up wind coming in at the opening, which is the gap a raincover does not always cover well. On a cold day facing into the wind it makes a noticeable difference at head height.
Fit
Universal, attaching around the hood edge on most prams, pushchairs and buggies. Fixes without tools.
Colours
Dark grey and light grey — both chosen to work with the grey and black hoods most prams come with.
Care
Remove before washing the pram fabric. Faux fur should be washed cool and never tumble dried on heat, which mats the pile permanently.
Shake it out while damp and let it air dry, and the pile stays intact.
A note on fit
Check it does not obstruct the hood mechanism when folded, and that it cannot reach your child face when the hood is down. Nothing should be able to fall across a sleeping baby.
