Faux Fur Baby Blanket – Pink, Soft Pram & Buggy Blanket

A soft faux fur blanket for a baby or toddler, in pink.

Where to use it

Over a pram or buggy, on a car seat once your child is out of it, across a pushchair on a cold day, or on the sofa. It is a warmth-and-comfort blanket rather than a bedding item.

Where not to use it

Not in a cot with a baby under 12 months. Lullaby Trust safer sleep guidance is a clear cot — firm flat mattress, well-fitting sheet, and nothing else. Loose blankets, quilts and soft bedding are a suffocation risk for infants, and a faux fur pile more so than a flat cellular blanket.

If you want your baby warm at night, use a correctly sized baby sleeping bag rather than a blanket.

Do not drape it over a pram to block light. Covering a pram traps heat and the temperature inside climbs quickly even on a mild day.

What it is good for

Over a toddler in a pushchair, in the car once they are old enough, on the sofa, and as the blanket that gets carried everywhere and eventually becomes the comforter. Faux fur has a texture small children reliably attach to.

Care

Machine washable. Wash cool and do not tumble dry on heat — faux fur pile mats permanently if it gets hot, and once matted it does not recover.

Shake it out while damp and it dries with the pile intact.
