Why the short ingredient list matters

Baby skin is thinner than adult skin and its barrier is still developing, which makes it more permeable and more reactive. Fragrance is the most common cause of contact reactions in children's products, and most baby lotions contain it. This has none.

What to use it on

• Body — after a bath, on skin still slightly damp
• Massage — light enough to work with, absorbs without leaving a film
• Hair and scalp — a small amount worked in gently
• Dry patches — anywhere skin feels rough

A little goes a long way. Warm a few drops between your palms first.
