What to actually keep in it

A safety note on hanging it

Hanging a heavy bag on a pram handle can tip the pram over, particularly a lightweight stroller, a child who is not harnessed, or when you lift the front wheels onto a kerb. Prams tipping backwards from handle-loaded bags is a common cause of injury.

Keep the weight sensible, keep your child harnessed, and take the bag off before lifting the pram. The basket underneath is better for anything heavy — it lowers the centre of gravity rather than raising it.
