Fit

Cut for the Qubi carrier specifically rather than universal, so it sits properly around the hood and handle without gaping. Fits over the carrier with the handle up.

Using it safely

Remove the raincover as soon as you are indoors or in the car. A raincover restricts airflow and traps heat quickly — a baby under one in a warm car or shop can overheat within minutes.

This is the most common mistake with raincovers, and it happens purely because you forget it is on. Make taking it off part of coming inside.

Never leave a baby under a raincover in direct sunlight. Check they are not too warm by feeling the back of the neck.

Make sure ventilation panels are not folded over or blocked, and that the cover is not touching your baby's face.

A note on the car

The raincover comes off before the carrier goes into the car. Nothing should be over or around a car seat while it is in use as a car seat.

Care

Wipe clean and let it dry fully before folding — a damp raincover folded away will smell within days and eventually go mouldy.
