The Deflow V-Pad is a five-piece traction tail pad for surfboards, based on Deflow's three-piece and four-piece pads. It combines grooved EVA for grip on the central piece and lower side pieces with smooth upper side pieces for comfort under the back foot.

Choosing a traction pad
A tail pad gives grip for the back foot, and the raised kick at the tail helps you find the back of the board without looking down. Front pads and arch bars are a separate option for the front foot. A multi-piece pad like this one lets you adjust the spacing to suit the width of your tail.
Fit the pad to a clean, dry, wax-free deck. Lay the pieces out first to check their position over the fin area, then peel and press each piece down firmly. Leave the adhesive to bond before you surf.
