Deflow Side Bites are fibreglass side fins designed to pair with any style of centre fin, adding stability and manoeuvrability to a single fin set-up on longboards and midlengths. They are part of the Deflow Core Collection.

Choosing side bites

Side bites fit the side boxes either side of a centre fin box, turning a single fin board into a 2+1 set-up. Check the fin box system fitted to your board's side boxes and choose the matching base: twin-tab, single-tab or, in black, FCS1 twin tab. Because they work with any centre fin, you can keep your current single fin and add these for more hold when the surf picks up, then remove them again for a pure single fin feel.
