The Deflow Pandora is a 9.5 in fibreglass single fin for longboards and Pandora Decoster's signature fin. Deflow designed the template with Clovis Donizetti after watching her surf at La Côte des Basques, with an outline for good trim and turning that keeps the board stable on noserides.

Choosing a longboard fin

Check your board's fin box system before you buy, and make sure the fin base listed in the options matches your boxes. Most longboards take a single fin box in the centre. A taller fin like this 9.5 in template gives hold and stability for trimming and noseriding, while a smaller fin loosens the board for turning. Move the fin forward in the box for a looser feel and back for more hold, and check the fin and screw are tight before each surf.
