Deflow Front Traction Pad for Surfboards, Arch Channels, 3mm EVA

The Deflow Front Traction Pad gives grip under the front foot, which helps when shifting your weight forward for manoeuvres such as airs. It uses thin 3mm lightweight EVA with extra perforations and defined channels through the arch.

Choosing a traction pad

Tail pads give grip for the back foot and help when pushing off the tail in turns; front pads and arch bars give grip for the front foot. Fit a pad to a clean, dry, wax-free deck and follow the fitting instructions so the adhesive bonds properly.

Deflow says the smooth surface is designed to suit any type of board and surfer. Some surfers use a front pad in place of wax under the front foot. Leave the pad to bond for the time given in the fitting instructions before surfing.
