The Deflow Front Pad is a 4 piece traction pad for the front foot, designed for comfort, support and grip. It uses thinner 3mm lightweight EVA with extra perforations and defined channels through the arch.

Choosing a traction pad
Tail pads give grip for the back foot and help when pushing off the tail in turns; front pads and arch bars give grip for the front foot. Fit a pad to a clean, dry, wax-free deck and follow the fitting instructions so the adhesive bonds properly.
Deflow says the smooth surface is designed to suit any type of board and surfer. Some surfers use a front pad in place of wax under the front foot. Leave the pad to bond for the time given in the fitting instructions before surfing.
