The Deflow 3 Piece Traction Vol. 2 is a tail pad for your back foot that combines two surfaces: the two upper pieces have a smooth surface for comfort, and the main piece mixes a smooth surface with a lined pattern for more grip. A larger 8mm centre arch and a 30mm tail kick give your back foot a clear reference point.

Choosing a traction pad
Tail pads give grip for the back foot, while front pads and arch bars are for the front foot. A three-piece pad lets you adjust the spacing between the pieces to suit the width of your tail. Fit it to a clean, dry, wax-free deck, line the kick up with the tail, and press each piece down firmly. Leave it to bond before your next surf.
